MT2 Shank (Teng) Spring Center Tap Guide Tool to Align Tap for threading Lathe Mill Jig Bore

*Manufactured from quality tool steel- fully hardened and precisely ground taper MT2 shank. *The Bore is also internally ground in which the spring loaded point is fitted & travel up & down. * The shank has a spring loaded center and self adjusted through the spring load while tapping. The overall length of the tool is 145 mm. Shank is MT2 -Teng Style. * This newly designed tap guide will give you the freedom from holding the Tap Body in a drill chuck or collet (*like we do in those straight shank traditional tap guides) because the Shank taper is MT2 which can be directly fitted to a Lathe's tailstock or a milling machine (having MT2 taper) and the tap can be hold through the point. * The stroke of the center will follow the tap, assuring straight and accurate hand tapped threads.
